Cannon firing at the Tudor Gun Tower, Pendennis Castle, English Heritage.

An interactive at Pendennis Castle helped visitors understand the tasks involved in manning the Tudor gun tower. A projected film showed the process of gunners loading and firing a cannon. Visitors could then try their hand with a replica cannon. If they followed the steps correctly – loading the powder, wadding and shot, ramming the ram rod and 'lighting' the fuse – the cannon goes 'bang.'
