Topographic map at Ely Museum.

This table-top map of the fens provided visitors with a birds-eye understanding of the area. As a tactile map, visitors could physically touch the exaggerated contours of the landscape, to understand how drainage ditches and rivers work, and how the flatness and wide open landscapes of the fens create a unique ecological environment.
