Selfie portraits juxtaposed against historical paintings
Selfie interactive at Collecting the Past, Making the Future a temporary exhibition at Ulster Museum.
At the end of the exhibition, visitors were encouraged to take a selfie on one of the iPads in the gallery, which added their photos to a digital portrait gallery of participants. The beginning of the exhibition had featured a series of formal painted portraits of the political figures involved in the act of Partition in Northern Ireland. This final interactive suggested that the future of Northern Ireland now lay in the hands of every day people.
