Touch sensitive tools, reveal how they are used
Touch tools at Brass Fire and Steel, National Railway Museum, York.
Touch-sensitive tools used in locomotive engineering, set into a timber table top. When a tool was touched, it lit up a graphic which explained how the tool was used. A full-size working lathe could be operated by visitors, giving them a unique opportunity to try out machinery used in fabricating the models on display.
